George,

Every time I mow my lawn I think to myself that if there was ever a golden opportunity for some company to make money it would be in this area. Think about this idea... Spend some serious $$ and hire a genetic engineering lab (you could probably do this at a university somewhere) and develop a grass that a) stays green, b) is hardy and c) has a real slow growth cycle.

Could you imagine how much you'd make selling a grass that only had to be mowed 3-4 times a year? <g>

Best,

DD

>...And I didn't even mention the beer!< s > Yeah, it was good up until then. Unfortunately, my old mower is in pretty bad shape and the pull rope to start the engine is not only about to break, but badly stretched as well (not to mention the mower's at least 10 years old). As a result, my backyard looked like it would need a product from International Harvester to get cleaned up. I managed to get about half of it done, which is no small feat considering I live on top of a hill, and I've got to carry the clippings up to the top for pick up. Finally I got a mower that wasn't just a rear-bagger. This one does that but is a mulcher and side-discharger as well. Did a great job. This weekend the second half (and I'm not dreading it as much as I did in the past).
Best,

DD
