>I found that I could also create it (along with other random errors) if I lowered the Net Status Timeout setting in Novell Client32 from the default of 30 to zero. If I did that, rebooted, and then started doing intensive network transfer (large file copy, inet downloads etc) the machine would crash with "Invalid Seek Offset", "Error Reading File" and others.

I use NT Server and the problem is with NTWS, but I'm pretty sure it's a very similar problem to yours. As I was trying to say, anyway, I can reproduce the problem by placing all the vfp app & data on the local drive, but the network timeouts (or "interrupts" as I call them) still cause the problem. The ISO (and occasional Error Reading File) errors do not occur with no network connection at all. I also get a "Cannot Update the Cursor" error sometimes.

The code where the ISOs hit is always table-related, and it is my strong guess that vfp is losing the file handles for the tables and indexes, for whatever reason.
