That's a good question, I can see the aliases in vfp, so they're still available inside vfp. But as to how to monitor the table/index file handles, I don't know, an API call probably. I can monitor in Server Manager, but that's not very reliable for the exact needs here.

I would like to try this too. The question here, then, is how do we get file handles of an open vfp table alias and CDX? Probably we need the entire filenames? And how do we check the status, with FOPEN(), maybe?

The problem is these errors are fairly random for me, so I really need to grab the handle information on the fly (in the debugger is best) just given an alias. Ideas for the best way to accomplish this?
