ILU Virus affects .sct files, so yes there is a possible interaction.

There are several threads about this going in the Chatter section (#366205, #366060, and others). Also, I posted one: #366830 That describes a temporary fix for this, and an easy way to find out if the virus is there. In general, you will have to clean the virus out, and restore from backup, then change the .sct's to read only. Up-to-date Anti-virus software would be a necessary addition.
