Thanks for the advice. I had initially reported the problems to the IS staff who said they knew nothing concerning the symptoms. After doing many things, I concluded the OS needed to be reloaded. Hearing that, the IS staff came back saying they really did know something about the problem and reinstalled Novell onto the system. Appears to have fixed the behavior.
>Hi,
>If you can't print to the printer, try the following :
>1. Make sure the printer has no loos connection, or try to change the printer cable. or
>2. Reinstall the printer driver, and make sure you can printer a test print paper. or
>3. In some caces, if everything is okey, and still doesn't print you may have a virus in your system - this happened to me.

>>For some reason our "Front Counter Computer" has gone stupid and believes no printers exist, at all. If it click Start|Settings|Printers, an explorer type window comes up and a flashlight icon displays, for as near as I can tell forever. It doesn't even get the Add Printer icon. Standard stuff applies, it worked yesterday, nobody did anything, just stopped working..... Suggestions on what to do?
