Hi John,

Morons, just do not care, do not listen, or just not educated about viruses? IMO, all of the above apply in some but not most cases.

>Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse. The fact is, many end-users, to put it mildly, are morons. And to be fair, there are many end-users that are sharp as a tack. The folks that got bit by this, are morons... They will do anything regardless of the consequences, despite all of the warnings I/T folks give them.

Well said!!!

>Again, the folks that wan't to find the folks at fault for spreading this thing have to look no farther than their own mirror image..< s >..

I was reading but can not quote. A person receive a email from a large corp server with "I l**e y*u" in the subject. Hello?? Why would anyone think that this large corp would send them a news letter with this subject line. If you know even a little bit about email policy/procedures/common sense it would go no futher then your system. Even if you didn't understand what a virus is or does. You should be able to distinguish from a junk email and email you need to open. My common sense would tell me to delete it. Period no quetions asked.

I don't understand people who write virus. They are evil people who have no business using a computer. There intentions are destructive from the begining. A virus is no less than a direct personal attack on another persons work and lively hood. This person took that a step further he/she attack every person who uses a computer weather the use is personal for fun or business.

Death is not a punishment for these people. IMO I can't think of one that is.
