ahhh yes, I know that type all too well. I've found from past experiences such as this the best thing to do is to act positive towards the moron, smile a lot, even quietly encourage him/her to be an even bigger moron whenever the thought occurs to them. Basically dont let on to said moron how obviously stupid and unprofessional their antics are, let them think 'its all good'. Then said moron lets their guard down and their arrogance take over... end result, you stand back and laugh while they hang themselves even faster than is to be expected. This has always worked like a charm for me and helps to ease the stress and tension on your side of the situation to boot.
