Hi Tom,
First, remember that Combos will let users add a new value into the field, but drop-down list boxes won't. The user has to choose from the specified values.
Second, could you explain the statement: "...the list is a two column list. Is there any way to get both fields..."
I'm assuming you are showing two fields. Do you want to search both together? Remember you have "DisplayValue" and "Value" for combos/dropdown lists. And 'Value' can be a field that isn't shown on the screen. For example, if you have 2 fields shown on the screen but your unique ID field is a third field, you'd set the ColumnCount to 3, but the ColumnWidths to 100,100,0. Then set BoundColumn to 3 and your 'invisible' column is the one being stored, used as the Combo.value property, etc.
