I'm doing the sum on a different view (child). So moving the pointer on the Parent record is not the problem. I've created another view that contains the sum command right in the query so I've gotten around the problem, but I'd like to know if others have had this problem and were they able to overcome it while still using the sum command. Is it a VFP issue or a MereMortal Issue?
