Hi Nadya. Most of the bizarre C0005 problems I have run into were resolved by Service Pack 3. Are you running this under SP3? If not, I'd recommend updating the system. Otherwise, let's see.... the fact that either LOCATE or SKIP causes the error tells me that the problem occurs as soon as VFP *truly* tries to implement the filter. I assume that DDFC_NONE is a defined constant --what's its value?
