If I understand you well you want to use an empty table like an container where the user can choose some records from a table, then print these records and clear the container.
Why you not try this with View. When the user choose some record from master table all you need is to REFRESH("YourView"). To make this easy you can put some field in master table named Choosed L (1) and your view can select only these records from master table where ther Choosed == .t.
