I am finding that too, even though VFP would better suite certain jobs many are insisting on VB. I find it a bit awkward that VB does not have a native database.

While I can find many good RAD frameworks for VFP (VFE, VFX, VMP, VPM, etc.) I cannot find anything similar for VB.

I like using Visual MaxFrame Professional, etc. and have worked with xBase since 1982. Creating VB data applications will take longer than if you were to do it in VFP, but if the customer says VB, then give them their monies worth.
