>Never mind. But, please remind we were no longer to "wear" LONG TAILS on our head for a hunder years. (One of my British friend said that before he came to Hong Kong, he thought Hong Kong people had long tails on their heads!?)
>This is a new era for Hong Kong people, but most of them MAY NOT USE TO the new Government. I knew that the foreign news are telling some "terrible" stories but not the truth.
>Before 1 July 97, UK APPOINTED a Governor to HK. The members of "Real Power Centre" - Executive Council were APPOINTED by HK Governor. We didn't have any right to choose our leader and our policy. At that moment, I didn't think we have much democracy.

Tienamen Square (sp?) still rings very loud here in America. As soon as the ceromonies are over 4,000+ Chinese troops will be in Hong Kong. I am just a little concerned anyone feels the need for such fire power in such a small peaceful place. Anyway, best of luch & definitely stay in touch (also hope internet will still be available to you).
Take Care
