When this was first posted I used the code on one of my apps' forms that usually overlaps another form on the users' desktop. When my wife got home I showed her how cool it was and explained all the great uses it would have. She, as usual when it comes to my programming, rolled her eyes and did that 'Yes, dear' bit. The very next day she comes home and tells me that she could have used it while she was working on her computer at work filling out all kind of State forms, etc! <g> She wanted to be able to click on a button on the form she was working on to make it semi-transparent so she could see the information on another screen under the one she was working on. I've found some other uses in my own apps but that's a bit more involved.
So, I got to gloat and found a real-world example of a typical 'user' being able to use this feature. Unfortunately, the State still uses OS/2.

>I had asked John privately, and I'll throw it out for public consumption: sure, it's cool, but what practical use is it? I'd like to write something up on this, but I'd like a practical example to demonstrate. John's already given me one idea, any others?
