>I have a program that starts up to a logon screen. The user log's on then the next screen is called depending upon logon. The problem is that the new screen called up does not activate and the user has to click in it before they can type anything in. The logon in screen has valid code on the password field that calls the new screen, thus I cannot use a set forcus command, and active screen has no effect either. Any suggestions???

Put the SetFocus() for the new form in the LostFocus() of the textbox.
