I can't imagine even running at 1024x768 on a 17" monitor. I have a nice expensive 17" Sony Trinitron at home (with very vivid colors) and even on that I get eyestrain in one hour if I go past 800x600. I haven't tried Dave F.'s suggestions.

>Out of curiosity, I tried putting it to 1280x1024. Everything got tiny and blurry. My poor old 17 inch monitor just can't handle it. Neither can my poor old eyes. :) I'll stick with what I got.
