I have this small PC we use as a SQL 7 Server for some tests of desktop applications.
It is a Pentium 200Mhz with 64Mb memory.
It has allways worked ok.

Now we have started to receive this message:

«SQL Server has run out of LOCKS. Rerun your statement when there are fewer active users, or ask the system administrator to reconfigure SQL Server with more LOCKS.»

Whenever we execute a query that needs lots of locks. Even if there is only one user. I can't determine the number of locks that are being used each time but it happens in lots of situations and it had never happened before.

I can't find anything wrong with the server configuration (we haven't changed the configuration anytime).

Any ideas ?

TIA
