I would do it that way, except that the report that I am creating will have different information and different fields on it based on which project that the user chooses. I have to do a join to get some of the data for the report and because of that if I just select * then some fields will be selected twice for some projects and once for others. That messes up my report. Since each project is different, I have to enter the list of fields in the query dynamically so the query holds the fields I need only once. I don't know how to do that.

I am sure this is confusing to you all because I didn't describe what is going on very well. If I knew what was going on I could be more discriptive.

I am doing it this way, because I have a bunch of projects with different data in their tables. And what is in their tables must be reported on the same report form. The problem is the table formats are different, and the field names are different from project to project. It has turned into a colassal pain.
