A minor note:

I might be missing something, but myself and some others have not had any success with the built-in Direct Cable Connect (DCC) between a Win95 and a Win98 machine. The same machines do work though when connected to other machines with the same version of Windows. I haven't looked further into it since I had LapLink and other alternatives available.
