Sounds like most of it is behaving normally. I have no clue why it's not firing, except that there have been some bugs in grid control events (what version is this?). Try putting Messagebox or WAIT WINDs in othe events: textbox Gotfocus/Lostfocus/When, grid Afterrowcolchange, etc. Something should fire when you move around the grid.
