Larry,
>I too was wondering about this and I almost fired a reply to DF to ask him about it. But then I got to thinking that he would have a hard time reading it so what was the point.
I don't buy that point entirely, because if someone has just posted a question, or is participating in a thread, they will likely scan the thread message list and will eventually stumble on their replies.
However, when a few days pass, (or, as you pointed out, when the connection is lost) that becomes much more difficult and much more of a drain on UT resources.
>If the count does show, then prolific posters are going to have UI issues after a while. When I leave the UT on for long periods of time, the message count gets to be 2 and sometimes 3 digits long. It then has a tendency to scroll to the next line because of the frame width. Clicking on the Messages button or Go button clears this. If there is no way to clear your replies, then what is a user going to do?
How about it, BUTM's? Do you see a Replies Count beside the Replies button?
