I am trying to import data from a text file into a foxpro table, when i try and tell the wizard that a certain field is a date it does not import it correctly. Is it becaue the field coming in is made up of characters? The text file is created by a parser written in C so even though they appear to be numbers, they are not integers, they are characters.
