Hi Ryan,

Try to import that date as text and when you're done importing, add a field to the table and replace it's contents with ctod() from the original field (which was imported as text).

Is it becaue the field coming in is made up of characters? The text file is created by a parser written in C so even though they appear to be numbers, they are not integers, they are characters.
