Gotcha. My Inspiron has pretty much all I need. I had to go with a xircom modem/network card though. That was the only drawback. I got the impression the inspiron's could be upgraded a little easier. I've got an extra megabay for a battery/drive/whatever will fit in there.

It's a beast for sure. <g> Mine will sit on my desk most of the time though, so it's not a problem right now. But I don't think I'd like to take it on a long hike. ;)
BTW, do you know how to change the scroll rate for a wheelmouse? I don't want to uninstall the touchpad driver and can't seem to find a way to change it.
