For some this is an alternative. For others, perhaps not. I'll have to make that evaulation when VS 7 is released.

Only problem with that is that if you're going to be in the development language business, then you've got to have some way to deploy the applications developed.

And for some the answer is InstallShield, but that isn't necessarily a viable alternative for everyone.
