Oh yes, absolutely. I had a sense from the original post that exclusive use was possible, since he said he was already deleting index tags. I've really only worked with this method during mass conversions of data, overnight and weekend tasks where I really really really did not want to be at work too late! And certainly the RAM drive approach feels arcane these days (haven't seen anyone use a RAM drive for a while -- even supported in W2000?)
