I have seen this happen on both sides. Neither impresses me. If my french is better than the other persons english then I speek french. I've noticed that in the reverse they tend to switch to english if the see I'm fumbling with my french.

There are militants on both sides. We should stop listening to them. And giving them the soapbox. They might get the message that the rest of us have no problems with each other.

I see nothing wrong with french always on top. They are the majority. But I believe that english should be there. This way the french & english both know where to look on the sign.
