I am from San Francisco and my experience from my Air Force days in the Southern States taught me:

1) You will get grits regardless of what you order - with breakfast, lunch or dinner.

3) R/C and a Moon Pie - I never heard anyone mention Coke!

Times change but grits will live on forever as my least favorite food substitute!
