The fact that he turned into a decent hitter is nice but his ego seems to grow exponentially to his BA. If I was Lynch I would have also jumped shipped when the deal went through. I love the Cubs but lately I just got a sour taste in my mouth whenever I watch them (and we know it is not from the Beer!!)

Seriously, I don't remember that they got him to be a speed guy when the trade with the White Sox went through. Secondly, I think that his defensive abilities aren't appreciated. He's playing one of the toughest right fields in baseball, and I've rarely seen him have a problem with it. Look at what happen yesterday to Burnitz (wasn't it?). Wrigley's right field drive a young right fielder so crazy, that the Cubs traded him to St. Louis. A kid by the name of Lou Brock. It always seems like they make some of the most bone headed decisions. Look at Maddux. The joke down here in the Atlanta area is that after 5 years the Braves will sign Kerry Wood. Only problem is that they're half serious.
