>We stumbled across a weird situation today. Two reports that work on my PC with an HP 6P do not work on my bosses' PC with an HP 6P with exactly the same driver. The lights indicate it is receiving data, but then turns red and stops. All other reports in the application work fine on his PC.

I've seen this behavior where the printer is attached to a local port which is subsequently mapped to a network printer, eg the printer in question is attached to LPT1:, but the machine elects to map a network printer to the local logical device LPT1:, with the net result that the local station can't figure out how to talk to its own local port.
