Hmmm... It doesn't make sense to put a lock on a Report Format (frx) file unless the users are allowed to modify it. In that case the base report should be included in the project, copied to the temp area (C:\Windows\Temp or something) and modified there.
Is it possible that you meant to put the lock on the report's data? Are you doing something that is so different from the usual that we can't guess what's happening?
