Roi,
At the 1993 DevCon in Orlando the late Tom Rettig knew someone who worked at NASA. As a result we were able to get to a location quite close. It was on the top of some levee berms. The only excitement that day, as the launch was scrubbed, was the alligator. <g>

I had hoped to have seen a launch but it just wasn't in the cards.
:( >>That would be outstanding, Roi. Any idea how many seats it might be reasonable to expect to get? I imagine this would be a very popular post-conference event.

>I have no idea. when I was there I had asked the girl working the hotel counter how to get good seats. Her father worked at NASA and she explained that the employees get a couple tickets if they want them. Of course she wasn't going so she didn't get any. I offered $100 bucks for her to call up Dad, but it was to close to the launch. :(

>I'll have to ask around and see if I can find out.

A man is no fool who gives up that which he cannot keep for that which he cannot lose.
Everything I don't understand must be easy!
The difficulty of any task is measured by the capacity of the agent performing the work.
