Oh, sorry for being unclear.
The main form doesn't call the same code to be released as the edit forms do. From the main form I call a method in the application control (CloseApp) that releases all forms and then issues Clear Events.
I use the form handler only for the editforms, the main form is instantiated from the application control itself: I admit that this is confusing, and I will change this very soon, but it should not be a problem right now.

I would be interested what you find confusing regarding the handling of controls. I reference all controls via the application control, because this is the first control to be instantiated and the last control to be released, so I have a center place for the application's controls. Of course I could use variables in the main.prg and instantiate all controls there, but I guess that's philosophy.

Now I'm getting off topic, but maybe there is something to learn.
