I pretty much agree. Pay is much better South, like Ft. Lauderdale or Boca Raton, where the cost of living is also higher. I used to commute down there during the week. But as Brenda said, you are no longer in Orlando when you are doing that.

IT salaries stink. everyone takes a paycut to move to florida. within florida jacksonville and tampa probably have the best IT jobs. the only way to make good $$ in orlando is to be a contractor and travel, but then you are no longer in orlando.
