>The 'table' it identifies is actually a 'View'. The view is a single table view which does have 2 index tags on it in 2 separate .CDX files. These are created when the user clicks on the header of the grid column. I have looped through all workareas and identified all open index files. The only other index open on the base table is the structural .CDX file. No other workarea with a view that references the base table has an open index file.

That's my general understanding, but a view isn't really a table, either, so I don't know what's happening here. The problem may arise from forming the CDX based on the alias rather than on the underlying table name, or there may be a difference in the header of a view. I'm guessing at this point, as I pointed out in the preceding message.
