I have a predicament with using Generic Text/Only Printer driver in VFP 6.0. Trying to print to a FoxPro report or a dos output will always skip a line when it hits the page break. As a result, when trying to print labels it will incorrectly format the text on each label after the page break. This procedure worked correctly in VFP 3.0. We have to use the generic driver because it is much faster printing dos output than the regular printer driver such as Epson, etc..I have tried everything on the printer driver properties for generic but nothing seems to work (custom paper, page break,no page break, etc..) I am using ??? for dos output.
I was thinking about creating a file but then I need to have the printer captured (copy to port) in my program in order to generate the output to the printer. We want to stay out of capturing printer portsI checked MSDN website and queried for generic driver but did not find anything that pertains to this problem. If anyone has any ideas would be greatly appreciated.!Thanks..
