I found out a solution to the problem. These are FPD 2.6 reports which I am converting to VFP. All that needs to be done is open the report in the report designer which then transports it to VFP. Voila ! Your suggestion might also do it and I'll investigate it.

BTW, I am really coming along fast now with the conversion I have been trying to do for years (no exageration). The key has been to use Visual MaxFrame and modify my migrator program so that it migrates the 2.6 app right into it. Then finish it by hand. I recommend this approach heartily.
