I'm new at VFP (about three months), and this behaviour is really puzzling me. I have a form, and it is using a private datasession (I just recently made that change. Previously it was using the default datasession and I had no problems). It tries to open a remote view and can't find it. It gives a message like ....'rv_plsprj.dbf not found', as though it was looking for a table, not a view. I suspended the program and played around with the Data Session window, and what I found was that, if I was in the private data session and I asked to open a view, the list only contained my local views and none of my remote views. If I switched to the default view, both local and remote views were listed. Why is this? Any ideas on how to get around this?
