Jim, as always means that you have no knowledge of the field, can't admit that someone other than yourself might have a valid perspecive, and decided to take personal indignation regarding a simple statement that the field is more complex than you might imagine. I realize that your uninformed, uniquely unqualified opinion deserves to be taken as gospel; I'm the first to admit IANAL, but do have 10 years experience in the practical requirements of implementing, reporting and enforing IP assertions in a multinational environment, for a publishing company which sold into an internatonal market, not to mention my own IP rights issues relating to patent holdings and issues of protecting the confidentiality and proper acknowledgement and compensations of creative thinkers. I probably qualify as a reasonaly well-informed layman; I made it a point to qualify my statements as such.

Jim, I have no intention of insulting or arguing with you; you represent the category of individual falling beneath the level of dislike or contempt, to one of inspiring indifference; you don't matter, aren't worth the emotional effort to dislike, and my sole interest in commenting on your posts at all (and while you've determined that this was directed at you, it wasn't, although you do fall into the general category I spoke of) is to correct the grossly misinformed, disinformed and incoherent ramblings of somone who is to be pitied rather than disliked or scorned, were I wiling to make an emotional investment in a relationship with you.

IOW, screed away all you like; it's not going to make a whit of difference. I wish you'd stop wasting bandwidth and energy on this matter and assess the net impact of your statements to me.

If you find my posts objectionable, feel free to place me on your twit filter; relieving the burden of reading random, pointless and annoying dissemblings of individuals generating less useful input than the typical decerebrate mollusk should be grounds for applying the filter so that you're not incensed by pointlss meanderings.
