I posted a note about running into this same problem a few weeks ago. I thought I was going crazy, but the fact was that VFP didn't even have to be open when it crashed, just have been open sometime in the same session. And I am also developing on an NTFS partition.

BTW, FPTs get trashed too, on occasion.

>Ever since I have moved to Window 2000, if the O/S crashes - yeah it does even though its not supposed to - for any reason, any open VFP form, and any form whihc HAS BEEN open since the last reboot is trashed. When I look at the SCT file with a text editor, it looks like the file has been overwritten with an single ASCII character. (I haven't looked at it with a heax editer to see which character)
