Will check out registry and see what shows up. This is what we posited among ourselves as well, but marketing drove us past the problem, so we posted on UT to see if there was a known solution. As I see it, this is just a variation on the endemic "DLL Hell".

If only our users wouldn't run any programs but ours! OR at least not any that make any changes to the OS or its registered components.
