I have a warehouse inventory app in visual FOX 6.0 running on RF forklift computers, connected to a Novel file server, vesion 3.12. The master data files are free tables on the server. When the app adds a new record to the file, the code would open the file with a statement such as:

USE K:\VB\WH\WHINV.DBF

Occasionally I will get an error:

File does not exist K:\VB\WH\VB\WH\WHINV.DBF
or
File does not exist K:\PACK\VB\WH\WHINV.DBF

How could my request for K:\VB\WH\WHINV.DBF get interpreted as a different path/file name? Any ideas?
