>I have a warehouse inventory app in visual FOX 6.0 running on RF forklift computers, connected to a Novel file server, vesion 3.12. The master data files are free tables on the server. When the app adds a new record to the file, the code would open the file with a statement such as:

>How could my request for K:\VB\WH\WHINV.DBF get interpreted as a different path/file name? Any ideas?

Something is changing the drive mapping for K: - likely the root reference point was changed.
