I'm lazy. :-) Besides, I prefer to build the suspense for DevCon. However, if one is just itching to see what I look like, my

Well, I didn't intend to cover all of the reasons with my original answer. There are a myriad of reasons that a control may not work with VFP. But IMO (and it is just that; ActiveX is not my specialty), the need for a container standard is probably the "big picture" reason for problems that we run into with controls. On closer examination, the individual problems are varied.
