But IMO (and it is just that; ActiveX is not my specialty), the need for a container standard is probably the "big picture" reason for problems that we run into with controls. On closer examination, the individual problems are varied.
Oh, I agree, and in fact, might take that statement into dispute. Doesn't the MS Toolbar support containership? That works with VFP.
