And with MS way of naming software, one would assume that Windows 2000 is the next version of Windows 98!
BTW, before Windows 98 came out, we had several clients as us if we had Windows 97 (ninety seven) in stock. Of course, we told them that there was no such thing, only Windows 95 and Windows 98 wasn't released yet. However, those same clients insisted that they had Windows 97 at the job!
We managed to find out that when they started Word, the splash screen said Word 97, so to them it was Windows 97.
