We use 5.0a. It happens on both NT4 and Win 95 boxes with a variety of video drivers (Chips & Technologies and Number Nine Visual in my office).

I woudl start looking at the code in the grid to see if there is anything in there that might be doing something that cause the form to jump. As I said I ran your example code on my installation and there was no jump.
