The only thing we do at form load is call the grid's SetFocus() method to get the row highlight to appear. This makes the form jump. So we removed the call, and the form didn't jump on load but if you clicked in the grid, thereby giving it focus, the form jumped. That's the key to this. So long as the grid doesn't get focus everything's fine. Any suggestions?

Sorry for any confusion. My form has only a gird and the grid has focus when the form comes up, let me try something here ...

I added a textbox and made it tab stop 1, in the form's init I called the setfocus of the grid and still no jumping for me.
