I have the whole Word include file, word8.h, out there, but like Della I have a "really used" word.h file that only includes the blocks of constants my code actually makes use of. Also make sure you mark the .H files as excluded from the project, they only serve to bloat the size of the exe.

If I eventually compile the form into an .exe version of my app, do I still suffer a time penalty when the form is loaded via the app...I would have thought that "compilation" would have resolved all of the constant ref's when the .exe was built, but knowing that VFP is an interpreter makes me a little unsure as to what assumptions I can make about .exe files.
