I did as you suggested up through the compiling part. The class browser still crashed VFP.

As far as SP3, Help/About says that it is Visual FoxPro 6.0 SP3 and that the version is 06.00.8492.00.

I don't have the option of getting the library from VSS because this library came to me on CD and it hasn't been put into VSS at my location yet. I have contacted the person who provided the files to see if he can provide a good copy of the library.

If you have any other suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thank you.

You may have problems with the The VCX and VCT are the class library; the VCA is used to store the class library under VSS in an 'ASCII-fied' form. The VCA is used by VSS to create the VCX and VCT when they're pulled out of VSS.
